In a recent bureaucratic reshuffle, the Punjab government has transferred five IAS officers. Simrandeep Singh has been named Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Punjab, with an additional charge as Additional CEO of the Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion.
Himanshu Jain has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, while Varjeet Walia will now serve as Deputy Commissioner, Roopnagar. Nirmal Ouseppachan has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Coordination, along with the additional responsibility of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Secretary. Meanwhile, Tarsem Chand has been reassigned as Deputy Excise Commissioner, Patiala.
