The Punjab government has announced a significant administrative reshuffle involving seven IAS officers, aimed at strengthening governance and departmental efficiency. Tejveer Singh has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education and Industrial Training, while Manvesh Singh Sidhu has taken charge as Administrative Secretary, Labour, along with additional responsibilities as Secretary, Revenue & Rehabilitation and Commissioner, Roopnagar Division.
Arun Sekhri has been relieved of the additional charge of Commissioner, Jalandhar Division and has been assigned as Commissioner, Faridkot Division. Manjit Singh Brar has assumed office as Administrative Secretary, Local Government. Ramvir will now handle the role of Commissioner, Jalandhar Division, in addition to his existing responsibilities. Rubinderjit Singh Brar has been given additional charge as Additional Secretary, NRI Affairs, while Ms Sonam has been assigned the additional role of Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Patiala.
