The Punjab government has assigned new responsibilities to five IPS officers:
- Jagdale Nilambari Vijay relieved from the additional charge of DIG, Ropar Range; now DIG, Community Affairs Division, SAS Nagar.
- Harcharan Singh Bhullar appointed as DIG, Ropar Range.
- Harjeet Singh takes over as DIG, Bathinda Range.
- Gaurav Toora posted as SSP, Kapurthala.
- Vatsala Gupta appointed as Commandant, 27th Battalion, PAP, Jalandhar.
