Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director of NLCIL, has been awarded the prestigious International Project Management Association (IPMA) Project Director (Level A) Certificate. This recognition is a testament to his exceptional leadership and commitment to executing complex strategic projects with excellence.
The certificate was presented by Padmabhushan Dr. Sivathanu Pillai, President of PMA India and Founder and Former MD & CEO of Brahmos Aerospace, at a ceremony held on January 18, 2025, at Yegneshwaran Auditorium, Learning & Development Centre, NLCIL. The event was attended by Shri Samir Swarup, Director (HR), Shri M. Venkatachalam, Director (Power), Thiru Appakannu Govindarajan, Chief Vigilance Officer, NLCIL, Shri T. Srinivasan, Regional Director, PMA India, and other senior officials from NLCIL.
The IPMA is a global federation of over 70 member associations, offering certification standards for professionals in project, program, and portfolio management. The Level A certification is the highest recognition in the field and is acknowledged in more than 70 countries. With this achievement, Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli joins an elite group of only 500 individuals worldwide, including 40 in India, who hold this distinguished status.
