POWERGRID has been honored with the CBIP Award 2024 for “Best Performing Power Transmission (System) Utility” at a ceremony held at the SCOPE Convention Centre. This prestigious award recognizes the company’s excellence in power transmission.
The award was received by R K Tyagi, CMD POWERGRID, in the presence of Subir Sen, ED (HVDC), Adish Kumar Gupta, ED (Corporate Communications & Law), and the POWERGRID team. Additionally, R K Tyagi was conferred with the CBIP Individual Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Development of the Power Sector. Tyagi dedicated the award to POWERGRID’s project teams across the country, acknowledging their efforts in overcoming challenges.
Furthermore, Pradeep Singh Chauhan, Chief Manager at POWERGRID, was awarded the CBIP Young Engineer Award (for professionals under 35 years of age) in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the power sector.
