P S Rajpurohit IFS appointed High Commissioner to Trinidad & Tobago detail

Dr. Pradeep Singh Rajpurohit, an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of the 2004 batch, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. He is currently serving as a Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.

Dr. Rajpurohit has a PhD in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has held various diplomatic positions in India and abroad, including as Consul General in Chicago, Deputy Chief of Mission in Dhaka, and Director in the Ministry of External Affairs.

He is a recipient of the Indian Foreign Service Award for Distinguished Service.

Dr. Rajpurohit is expected to take up his assignment as High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago shortly.
