Oil India records highest-ever quarterly standalone profit of Rs. 2,870 Crore

Oil India Limited (OIL) has achieved a significant financial and operational milestone, reporting its highest-ever quarterly Standalone Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 2,870 crore. The company recorded an impressive 2.5-fold year-on-year growth, supported by higher crude oil production and strong price realisation.

On a consolidated basis, OIL posted a PAT of Rs. 4,027 crore, marking a robust 97% year-on-year increase.

  • Record Standalone PAT: Rs. 2,870 crore, the highest-ever quarterly figure

  • Record Horizontal Displacement: 3,116 metres achieved in an onshore well in Assam, marking OIL’s highest-ever horizontal displacement
  • NRL PAT Growth: Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) recorded a remarkable 167% growth in PAT, reaching Rs. 1,305 crore
  • NRL Gross Refining Margin: $35.95 per barrel
  • NRL Distillate Yield: 87.58%

The strong quarterly performance underlines OIL’s focus on operational efficiency, technological advancement and accelerated exploration and production. The company’s continued efforts to expand domestic hydrocarbon resources are also contributing to India’s broader objective of strengthening energy security and reducing dependence on imports.
