The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and “Divyaj Foundation” have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote financial literacy and investor awareness, especially among women. The agreement was formalized in the presence of Mrs. Amruta Devendra Fadnavis, founder of Divyaj Foundation, and Bhushan Gagrani, Municipal Commissioner of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Bollywood actor Sharvari Wagh also attended the event.
As part of this initiative, the foundation will help identify and mobilize participants, including women police personnel, BMC employees, Mumbai police, self-help groups, blue-collar women workers, and students. The collaboration aligns with NSE’s commitment to investor protection and inclusivity.
Following the MoU signing, an Investor Awareness Program was conducted for over 200 women participants at NSE, covering topics such as financial planning, capital markets, mutual funds, and investment strategies.
