NMDC wins seven major honours at PRSI National Conference 2025

NMDC, India’s largest iron ore mining PSU, has secured seven prestigious awards at the 47th All India Public Relations Conference 2025, organised by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI). The three-day national conference was held on the theme “Empowering Growth, Preserving Roots” and showcased excellence in public relations, corporate communication, and social impact initiatives.

NMDC’s award-winning efforts spanned key areas such as skill development, women empowerment, corporate social responsibility (CSR), research and development, healthcare initiatives, and strategic communications. The event witnessed the presence of prominent dignitaries including Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Forest Minister Subodh Uniyal, Biotechnology Minister Ganesh Joshi, MP Naresh Bansal, and spiritual leader Swami Chidanand Saraswati Maharaj.

The awards were presented by Chief Guest Pushkar Singh Dhami along with other senior leaders. NMDC was represented by Srinivasa Rao, Deputy General Manager (Corporate Communications), who received the honours on behalf of the organisation. NMDC bagged first prizes for Best Skill Development Programme by a PSU, Best Annual Report, and Best House Journal (Hindi). It also won second prizes for Best R&D Efforts Promoting Science & Technology and Best CSR Project for Women Development, along with third prizes for Best PSU Implementing CSR Projects and Outstanding Medical & Health Initiatives.

Congratulating the team, Mrs. G. Priyadarshini, Director (Personnel), said the awards reaffirm NMDC’s purpose-driven approach to sustainable growth, community empowerment, innovation, and transparent communication. She added that NMDC continues to invest in building future-ready talent and strengthening trust with stakeholders through impactful initiatives.
