Nine officers of the Indian Economic Service (IES) have been assigned new roles within the Government of India. Bikash Kumar Malick has been appointed as Deputy Director in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, while Ms. Aparajita Priyadarshni takes on the role of Deputy Director in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. Manoj Kumar Mishra has been named Deputy Director for Food & Public Distribution.
In other assignments, P. Babu has been appointed as Deputy Director in the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, and Sachidananda Das as Deputy Director in Rural Development. Jagadish Sahu has been assigned as Assistant Director in the Development Commissioner’s office for MSMEs. Ms. Supriya Anand will serve as Deputy Director in the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Ms. Deeksha Supyaal Bisht has also been appointed Deputy Director in Rural Development, and Ms. Pallak Shrestha will serve as Assistant Director at the Labour Bureau.
