Karnataka has announced significant assignments and promotions for its IPS officers. Vikash Kumar Vikash has been appointed as Inspector General and Additional Commissioner of Police, West, Bengaluru City. Raman Gupta is set to take charge as Additional Commissioner of Police, Intelligence, Bengaluru City, while Dr. Chetan Singh Rathor will assume the role of Inspector General of Police (IGP), Belagavi.
In addition, three IPS officers have been elevated to the prestigious rank of Inspector General of Police (IGP). The promoted officers include Amit Singh, N. Shashi Kumar, and Dr. Y. S. Ravi Kumar, marking a notable step in their careers.
