New responsibilities assigned to the 8 IAS officers in Rajasthan

  1. Bhavani Singh Detha:

New Position: PS, Youth Affairs & Sports
Details: This role involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and monitoring of various programs and initiatives related to youth affairs and sports development in the state. Detha will be responsible for promoting sports participation among youth, creating infrastructure, and supporting athletes.

  1. Navin Jain:

New Position: Secretary, Planning, Planning (Janshakti and Gazetteers), Statistics Department
Details: Jain will head the state’s planning department, which is responsible for formulating development plans, monitoring their implementation, and analyzing data related to various sectors like economics, demographics, and social welfare. He will also oversee the Janshakti (human resources) and Gazetteers departments.

  1. Krishna Kunal:

New Position: Secretary, School Education & Language and Library and Panchayati Raj (Primary Education)
Details: This role encompasses overseeing the entire spectrum of primary education in Rajasthan, including curriculum development, teacher training, and infrastructure management. Kunal will also be responsible for managing libraries and overseeing the Panchayati Raj department, which focuses on rural development and empowering local governing bodies.

  1. V Sarvana Kumar:

New Position: Secretary & Commissioner, Science & Technology
Details: Kumar will head the state’s Department of Science & Technology, which plays a crucial role in promoting scientific research, innovation, and technological advancements across various sectors. He will be responsible for formulating policies, allocating resources, and fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and government in the science and technology domain.

  1. Dr. Mohan Lal Yadav:

New Position: Secretary, Women & Child Development
Details: Dr. Yadav will lead the Department of Women & Child Development, which focuses on empowering women, ensuring their welfare, and safeguarding the rights of children. His responsibilities will include overseeing various programs related to women’s education, skill development, healthcare, and child protection.

  1. Mahendra Soni:

New Position: Secretary, Revenue Board, Ajmer
Details: Soni will head the Revenue Board in Ajmer, which is responsible for managing land records, revenue collection, and overseeing various land-related matters within the Ajmer division of Rajasthan.

  1. Dhirendra Bhan Chaturvedi:

New Position: Divisional Commissioner, Sikar
Details: Chaturvedi will assume the role of Divisional Commissioner for Sikar, which involves overseeing the administration of the entire division, encompassing various districts. He will be responsible for coordinating between different government departments, ensuring the implementation of government policies, and addressing public grievances within the division.

  1. Narendra Gupta:

New Position: Special Secretary, Revenue & Land Management Commissioner, Bandobast, Jaipur (holding additional charge)
Details: While retaining his existing role as Special Secretary in the Revenue Department, Gupta will take on the additional responsibility of Land Management Commissioner for Bandobast in Jaipur. This involves overseeing land management and revenue collection specifically within the Jaipur region.
