NBCC (India) Limited has signed an MoU with FDCM Gorewada Zoo Limited for the development of an iconic African Safari and Entrance Plaza at Balasaheb Thackeray Gorewada International Zoological Park, Nagpur. The Rs. 355 crore project will span 63 hectares and include an African Savannah Safari, zoo plaza, animal hospital, themed trails, and eco-sensitive visitor amenities.
In a landmark initiative envisioned by CM Devendra Fadnavis, the project aims to deliver a world-class conservation and tourism experience featuring over 30 African species. NBCC will be the implementing agency, spearheading planning, design, and execution of this first-of-its-kind zoological marvel in India.
