Nalin Prabhat has assumed the role of Director General of Police (DGP) for Jammu and Kashmir.
Nalin Prabhat, a 1992 batch IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre, has had a distinguished career in law enforcement and public service. Before taking on the role of Director General of Police (DGP) in Jammu and Kashmir, he held several important positions in various states and union territories under the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories) cadre.
Throughout his career, Nalin Prabhat has been involved in key areas such as counter-insurgency, internal security, and law enforcement administration. He has served in various capacities, from handling sensitive cases to leading teams in regions with complex law and order challenges. His leadership and experience have earned him a reputation for being a capable and strategic officer.
