As part of the administrative reshuffle, IAS officer Anju Arun Kumar has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department.
Prior to the transfer, she was holding additional responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer of Smart City Bhopal and Additional Commissioner of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation.
Her new assignment shifts her from urban administration and smart city-related responsibilities to the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, which oversees key aspects of rural governance and development programmes in the state.
