“Mayank Mishra, a 2009 batch IRS-IT officer, has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The appointment was made under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
Mishra is presently posted as Joint Director in the National Academy of Direct Taxes.
He holds a master’s degree in taxation and business laws from NALSAR, Hyderabad.
He also holds a BA Honors in History from IGNOU and a Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, New Delhi.
