In a significant administrative overhaul, the Jharkhand government has reshuffled 16 IAS officers, assigning them new and strategic responsibilities across departments.
Mast Ram Meena has been appointed as Member of the Revenue Board, Jharkhand. Rajesh Kumar Sharma takes charge as Secretary, Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Department, while K Srinivasan has been posted as Secretary, Energy Department, along with additional responsibility as Managing Director of Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited.
Manoj Kumar has been designated as Secretary, Rural Development Department, and will also oversee Rural Works and Panchayati Raj. Mrs Vipra Bhal has been appointed Secretary, Disaster Management Department. Another key posting includes Manoj Kumar as Divisional Commissioner, South Chotanagpur Division (Ranchi), with additional charge of North Chotanagpur Division (Hazaribagh).
Mukesh Kumar, currently Secretary, Planning and Development, has been given additional responsibility for Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs. Uma Shankar Singh, Secretary, School Education and Literacy, will also handle Women, Child Development and Social Security.
Rajiv Ranjan has been named Secretary, Transport Department, while Abu Imran will serve as Secretary, Drinking Water and Sanitation. Sanjay Kumar has been appointed In-charge Divisional Commissioner, Santhal Pargana (Dumka). Sandeep Singh becomes Labor Commissioner, and Gholap Ramesh Gorakh has been posted as Civil Security Commissioner.
Mrs Kumud Sahay takes charge as In-charge Divisional Commissioner, Palamu (Medininagar), Ravi Ranjan Kumar Vikram as In-charge Divisional Commissioner, Kolhan (Chaibasa), and Shashi Ranjan has been appointed Additional Secretary, Drinking Water and Sanitation, with additional charge as Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission.
This large-scale IAS reshuffle in Jharkhand aims to strengthen governance and streamline departmental functioning across the state.
