The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) has been honored with the Best State Tourism Board Award at the prestigious India Travel Awards 2025, held at Le Meridien, New Delhi. The award was presented by Union Minister of Tourism & Culture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, recognizing Madhya Pradesh’s leadership in sustainable and innovative tourism practices.
Minister of State for Tourism, Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, called the recognition a “moment of pride for Madhya Pradesh,” highlighting the state government’s commitment under Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to make tourism a key driver of economic growth and employment. Additional Chief Secretary & MD of MPTB, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, emphasized that the award reflects collective effort and a long-term vision of preserving culture, empowering local communities, and promoting eco-friendly tourism.
From eco-tourism and adventure travel to homestays and heritage promotion, MPTB has consistently showcased Madhya Pradesh as the ‘Heart of Incredible India’. With sustainability and community engagement at its core, the state is rapidly emerging as a world-class travel destination where tradition, nature, and modern experiences coexist.
