The Madhya Pradesh government has announced new responsibilities for four IPS officers:
- Varun Kapoor is now Director General, Prisons.
- Mohammad Shahid Absar has been given dual roles as ADGP, Selection & Recruitment (PHQ), and Director, Police Academy Bhauri.
- Mohammad Yusuf Qureshi is posted as DIG, Economic Offences Wing.
- Chandrashekhar Solanki, currently IG, SAF, Indore, will additionally serve as IG, RAPTC, Indore.
