In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government has reassigned four senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers to key positions to enhance law enforcement operations. Manish Shankar Sharma has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Rail, PHQ, Bhopal, where he will oversee railway security and operational efficiency.
Meanwhile, D P Gupta has been given the responsibility of ADGP, Community Policing & RTI, Lok Seva Guarantee, Cooperative Fraud, and Police Manual, PHQ, aiming to strengthen citizen-centric policing and streamline law enforcement policies. Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma has been posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD)/ADGP at Madhya Pradesh Bhavan, New Delhi, where she will handle state-related affairs in the national capital.
In another crucial appointment, A Sai Manohar has been named ADGP, Cyber, PHQ, Bhopal, a role focused on tackling cybercrime and enhancing digital security frameworks. These reassignments highlight the state’s commitment to bolstering governance and law enforcement efficiency.
