In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Maharashtra Government has reassigned several IAS officers to strategic positions across key departments and agencies. Vijay Singhal, who was serving as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of CIDCO, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Dharavi Redevelopment Project. Ashwini Joshi has been posted as Additional Metropolitan Commissioner of MMRDA, while Ashwin Mudgal takes charge as Managing Director of CIDCO.
Among other major appointments, Dipendra Singh has been named CEO of MIDC, Dr. Kadambari Balkawade becomes Development Commissioner (Industries) in the Directorate of Industries, and Sanjay Katkar has been appointed Director of the National Health Mission, Mumbai, along with Commissioner (Family Welfare). Additionally, Zenith Chandra Donthula has been posted as CEO of Gondia Zilla Parishad, Anay Navandar as CEO of Akola Zilla Parishad, and Prajakta Verma as Additional Commissioner of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. The reshuffle is expected to bolster administrative leadership across Maharashtra’s development and governance sectors.
