In a recent round of appointments, several officials have been designated as Joint Secretaries in-situ across various ministries and departments. Bani Brat Roy has been appointed as Joint Secretary in-situ in the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), while K Chandra Singha has taken up the same role in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. In the domain of AYUSH, Ms. Asha Chauhan has been entrusted with the responsibility as Joint Secretary in-situ.
Further strengthening the governance structure, Surat Singh has been appointed as Joint Secretary in-situ in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and Makkhan LL Meena has assumed the same position in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). Sanjay Kumar has been designated in the Ministry of Science & Technology, whereas Dr. Atya Nand has been appointed in the Ministry of Labour. Meanwhile, Arvind Kumar will take charge as Joint Secretary in-situ in the Ministry of Culture, and Dinesh Kumar Verma will oversee operations in the Ministry of Cooperation.
Adding to these significant appointments, Rajendra Singh and Meenu Batra have been selected as Joint Secretaries in-situ in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (I&B). Sunil Kumar Ranjan will serve in the Ministry of Social Justice, and Sudreshan Mendiratta has been designated to the Ministry of Steel. Anurag Rohatgi will handle responsibilities in the Ministry of Fertilizers, while Naresh Kumar Wadhwa will serve in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
In the infrastructure sector, Pradeep Kumar Roy has been appointed in the Ministry of Ports, and in the healthcare domain, Phool Chand Prasad will serve in the Ministry of Health. Lastly, Shiv Ram Meena has been entrusted with the Ministry of Biotechnology, contributing to advancements in the field.
