The Keralam government has ordered the transfer and posting of six IPS officers of Superintendent of Police (SP) rank in a fresh administrative reshuffle aimed at enhancing policing and law enforcement operations across the state.
Ajit Kumar (IPS:2017), who was awaiting posting following his transfer from the position of District Police Chief, Palakkad, has been appointed Superintendent of Police, Telecom. Mohanachandran Nair M.P. (IPS:2019), who was earlier posted to the Crime Branch for Kozhikode and Wayanad, will now serve as SP, Crime Branch, Malappuram.
Among the 2020-batch officers, Arun K. Pavithran has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police-2, Law and Order & Traffic, Kochi City. Juvvanapudi Mahesh has been assigned as Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Southern Range, Thiruvananthapuram, while Shahul Hameed A. takes charge as SP, Economic Offences Wing, Thiruvananthapuram Range.
In another key move, Shahansha K.S. (IPS:2021), who was serving as Deputy Commissioner of Police-2, Law and Order & Traffic, Kochi City, has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Law and Order & Traffic, Thiruvananthapuram City. The latest reshuffle reflects the state’s ongoing efforts to optimize police administration and improve operational effectiveness across different regions of Keralam.
