A major reshuffle involving nine IPS officers has taken place in Kerala. Yogesh Gupta has been named Director General, Fire & Rescue Services, and Manoj Abraham will now lead the Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau as its Director. M R Ajithkumar is set to take over as the new Excise Commissioner.
In other key movements, Balram Kumar Upadhyay will serve as Director of the Kerala Police Academy (KEPA), while Mahipal Yadav has been designated as ADGP, Crimes. G Sparjan Kumar has been assigned as IG, Crimes I, Thiruvananthapuram; P Prakash takes over as IG, Coastal Police; K Sethu Raman has been posted as IG and Director General of Prisons & Correctional Services; and A Akbar will now function as IG, Internal Security.
