In a significant reshuffle, ten IAS officers in Karnataka have been entrusted with new roles across key departments. Amlan Aditya Biswas has been named Principal Secretary, Public Works Department, while Naveen Raj Singh steps in as Principal Secretary, Youth Empowerment & Sports Department. V Anbukkumar takes over as Secretary, Housing Department, Bengaluru, and will also oversee Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Sciences & Fisheries as an additional charge.
Sameer Shukla assumes charge as Secretary, Commerce & Industries (MSME & Mines), and Randeep D has been appointed Secretary, Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department. Ramandeep Chowdhary is now Secretary, Planning, Programme Monitoring & Statistics Department, Bengaluru.
Pommala Sunil Kumar, Commissioner for Revenue (Revenue, LAQ, R\&R and Social Security), Bengaluru, will now also serve as Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner of Stamps. Ramachandran R, MD of Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation, has been given additional charge as MD, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation. Dayananda KA becomes Commissioner, Karnataka Housing Board, and Ibrahim Maigur has been posted as Director (IT), KSRTC.
