In a significant administrative overhaul, the Jharkhand government has reassigned 15 IAS officers to new roles, aiming to enhance governance and streamline operations across key departments. Among the notable appointments:
- Mast Ram Meena has been named Principal Secretary of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, while also taking on the additional role of Member Secretary of the Revenue Board.
- Puja Singhal has been appointed Secretary of IT & e-Governance, with the added responsibility of CEO of the Jharkhand Communication Network.
- Kripanand Jha will serve as Secretary of SC, ST & Backward Class Welfare.
- Vipra Bhal takes charge as Secretary of Transport, alongside her role as Transport Commissioner.
- Arwa Rajkamal, Secretary of the Building Construction Department, will also oversee the Mines & Geology Department.
- Jitendra Kumar Singh has been appointed Secretary of Labour, Employment, Training, and Skill Development.
- Mukesh Kumar will lead as Secretary of Planning and Development.
- Rajeshwari B has been named Special Secretary of Finance.
- Saurabh Kumar, Joint Secretary of the Finance Department, will also serve as Managing Director of the Jharkhand Exploration and Mining Corporation.
- Kanchan Singh has been appointed CEO of the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society.
- Dhananjay Kumar Singh will serve as Joint Secretary of Finance.
- Sita Pushpa takes on the role of Joint Secretary of School Education and Literacy.
- Vijay Kumar Sinha has been appointed Excise Commissioner.
- Preeti Rani will serve as Joint Secretary of Industries.
- Rajesh Prasad has been named Director of Secondary Education.
