The Government of India has upgraded both the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and the Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) to the prestigious ‘Navratna’ status. This recognition highlights their strong financial performance, operational excellence, and strategic importance in the railway sector.
IRCTC achieved this milestone under the leadership of Sanjay Kumar Jain as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), while IRFC reached this status under the leadership of Manoj Kumar Dubey as CMD. This upgrade further strengthens their position, enabling greater financial autonomy and growth opportunities.
