The Telangana government has reshuffled seven IPS officers, assigning them to important leadership roles in policing and administration.
Shikha Goel takes over as Principal Secretary, Home, alongside her existing roles in cyber security and forensic services. Devendra Singh Chauhan has been appointed DG, Vigilance & Enforcement, with additional responsibility in the General Administration Department.
Among other changes, Shahnawaz Qasim moves to Multi Zone-II as IGP, while Dr. Tarun Joshi has been named Commissioner of Police, Future City. Avinash Mohanty will head Drugs Control Administration and Prohibition & Excise, with added charge of ACB.
Ms. B. Sumathi has been posted as CP, Malkajgiri, and Kartikeya, IG Intelligence, will hold additional charge of IGP, SIB Intelligence.
