IPS officers posted to new assignments in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh Government has carried out a fresh reshuffle in the Indian Police Service (IPS) cadre, transferring five senior police officers to new assignments across the state as part of its regular administrative review.

Under the latest transfer orders, Anil Kumar Singh has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police (SP), Rampur.

Gopal Krishna Chaudhary has been posted as Commandant of the 32nd Battalion, Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), Lucknow, while Somendra Meena has been assigned the responsibility of Superintendent of Police, Regional Intelligence, Agra.

In another posting, Sanjeev Kumar Bajpai has taken over as Superintendent of Police, Lalitpur.

The reshuffle also includes the transfer of Mohammad Mustaque, who has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Lucknow Police Commissionerate.

The latest appointments form part of the state’s ongoing administrative measures aimed at strengthening policing, improving field-level leadership and enhancing law enforcement across Uttar Pradesh.
