In a major administrative reshuffle, Indian Railways has appointed several senior officers as Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) across various zones to strengthen operational efficiency and regional oversight. Among the notable appointments, Vinod Kumar has taken over as DRM of Danapur, while Divyakant Chandrakar assumes charge as DRM in Trivandrum. Sangrah Maurya and Kirendra Narah have been assigned to Moradabad and Katihar divisions respectively, ensuring leadership continuity in these critical segments.
The reshuffle also includes the posting of Gagan Goyal as DRM, Agra; Pradeep Kumar Mohanty as DRM, Alipurduar; and Aswani Srivastava as DRM, Samastipur. Ved Prakash has been given charge of the Ahmedabad division, while Madhukar Roat has been posted to Palghat. In Central Railway, Shyam Singh and Punit Agrawal have taken charge of Bhusaval division at different intervals, reflecting a strategic focus on enhancing zone-wide coordination.
Key appointments in Eastern and South Eastern Railway divisions include Alok Tripathi as DRM, Khurda Road; Karuna Nidhi Singh in Ranchi; Vishal Kapoor in Howrah; Ravi Jain in Jaipur; Lalit Mohan Pandey in Kharagpur; and Jayant Kumar in Asansol. These postings aim to bring renewed momentum to passenger services, infrastructure expansion, and freight handling capabilities.
Additionally, the Northern and Western Railway zones have seen new appointments, with Anirudh Kumar posted as DRM, Jhansi; Amit Saran in Sonpur; Anil Siddhartha in Rangiya; and Mohit Sonkiya in Vijayawada. Sanjeev Kumar has been named DRM, Firozpur, while Shailendra Singh takes charge in Chennai. Gaurav Govil and Dinesh Verma have been posted as DRMs in Bikaner and Bhavnagar respectively, with Giriraj Kumar Meena assuming responsibility in Rajkot.
Further strengthening leadership in key divisions, Ashish Jain has been appointed as DRM, Varanasi, and Santosh Kumar Verma has taken over in Hyderabad. These appointments are a part of Indian Railways’ larger strategy to align top-level management with its mission of modernization, punctuality, and enhanced passenger experience across the nation.
