ICAS officers take charge of key financial posts

Three seasoned officers from the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) have been entrusted with new and crucial financial responsibilities across prominent government departments. Hemant Jain steps into the role of Chief Controller of Accounts (CCA) for the Ministry of Power in New Delhi, ensuring sound financial governance in a sector that powers the nation.

Meanwhile, Binod Kumar Agrawal has taken over as CCA at the Department of Atomic Energy, Mumbai, bringing his fiscal acumen to the helm of a high-security, innovation-driven department. Satish Kerba Jadhav has been appointed as CCA for the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), a key position influencing India’s direct tax administration from the heart of New Delhi.
