In a sweeping administrative reshuffle, several IAS officers have been assigned new roles in Haryana. Dr Raja Shekhar Vundru has taken over as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Fisheries Department. Vineet Garg will now hold additional charge as ACS, School Education Department. Vijayendra Kumar has been entrusted with multiple responsibilities including ACS, Cooperation Department; Special Officer, Haryana Income Enhancement Board; and ACS, Appointments (Personnel Department). Amit Kumar Agarwal is now Secretary, Industries & Commerce and also Information, Public Relations, Language & Culture Department.
Ashima Brar steps in as Commissioner & Secretary, Excise & Taxation and Finance Department-II. C G Rajini Kaantan takes over as Commissioner & Secretary, Human Resource, General Administration, Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare and Finance Department-III. D Suresh becomes Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi and Principal Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs.
Rajeev Ranjan is appointed Principal Secretary, Youth Empowerment & Entrepreneurship Department. Pankaj Agarwal takes dual charge as Chief Electoral Officer, Haryana and Principal Secretary, Election Department, along with additional charge as Principal Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. Amneet P Kumar will handle three key portfolios: Commissioner & Secretary, Department of Future, Civil Aviation, and Foreign Cooperation Department. Sanjeev Verma becomes Secretary and DG, Sports Department, and Commissioner, Ambala Division.
Mohammad Shayin continues with his existing roles and adds Commissioner & Secretary, Finance Department. Saket Kumar is named Secretary, Development & Panchayats Department and MD, Haryana Power Generation Limited. J Ganesan gets additional charge as MD, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd, while A K Garg is given the additional role of CEO, Hisar Metropolitan Development Authority. Among district-level appointments, Sushil Sarwan takes charge as Deputy Commissioner, Sonipat; Manoj Kumar-II as Commissioner, Food & Drugs Administration; and Sahil Gupta as Deputy Commissioner, Bhiwani.
