The Uttar Pradesh government has undertaken a significant reshuffle of its IAS officers:
- Alok Kumar-II has been relieved of his charge as Principal Secretary (PS), Sports & Youth Welfare.
- Mrs. Leena Johri, previously PS, Stamps & Registration, has also been relieved of her responsibilities.
- Amit Gupta has been appointed as PS, Stamps & Registration, and Inspector General (IG), Registration.
- Manish Chauhan will take over as PS, Sports & Youth Welfare.
- Dr. Muthukumarswamy B has been designated as Secretary, Finance.
- K. Vijayendra Pandiyan has been given additional responsibilities as Commissioner of Kanpur Division.
- Bal Krishna Tripathi will also serve as Commissioner, Vindhyachal Division.
- Dr. Rupesh Kumar has been relieved of his additional responsibility as IG, Registration.
- Vivek will now serve as Commissioner of Azamgarh Division.
- Ajit Kumar assumes the role of Commissioner, Chitrakoot Rural Division.
- Narendra Prasad Pandey has been appointed Secretary, Planning, and Director General (DG) of Economics & Statistics.
This reshuffle is aimed at optimizing administrative efficiency and governance in the state.
