IAS cadre expanded in Assam, 11 officers promoted

11 IAS officers of the 2012 batch in Assam have been promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (JAG). The officers are:

Mrs Monita Borgohain, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Dima Hasao district

Mrs Gitanjali Bhattacharya, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup (M) district

Shah Nawaz Choudhary, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Barpeta district

Fazlul Haque Choudhary, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Nalbari district

Mrs Kavyashree Mahanta, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Sonitpur district

Mrs Smitakshi Baruah, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Udalguri district

Mrs Malavika Choudhary, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Darrang district

Indreswar Kalita, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Dibrugarh district

Kausar Jamil Hilaly, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Lakhimpur district

Deba Kumar Kalita, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Sivasagar district

Mrs Arundhati Chakraborty, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Cachar district
