Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO), a premier techno-financing Navratna CPSE in the field of housing and urban development, playing a pivotal role in the socio-economic development of India for over five decades, today received the ‘Certificate of Registration as Non-Banking Financial Company – Infrastructure Finance Company (“NBFC-IFC”)’, from Reserve Bank of India (“RBI”).
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sanjay Kulshreshta, CMD HUDCO said that the Company’s status as a NBFC- IFC will allow greater diversification, wherein it would be able to extend long-term financial assistance to viable infrastructure projects. He reiterated HUDCO’s commitment to fostering growth and improving the life of millions by financing assets for ‘Viksit Bharat’.
