Hindustan Copper Limited hosts public procurement training workshop

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) recently held a comprehensive training programme on ‘Public Procurement’ under its Preventive Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2025, themed “Vigilance – A Shared Responsibility.” The event was inaugurated by Sanjiv Kumar Singh, CMD, HCL, with the presence of senior officials, directors, guest speakers, and business partners.

Keynote sessions were delivered by experts including Kanwalpreet, IRSS, who explained procurement guidelines and manuals, and Rajiv Lochan Bharadwaj, who highlighted provisions for ‘Make in India’, MSE participation, and national security in procurement. The occasion also marked the launch of the HCL Procurement Manual 2025, aimed at making procurement more transparent, cost-effective, and efficient.

Interactive training, including hands-on sessions on GeM registration and operations, was also organized to guide employees and onboard new entrepreneurs. The workshop successfully encouraged participants to upgrade their skills and reaffirmed HCL’s commitment to fair and effective procurement practices.
