High-Level bureaucratic reshuffle across Chhattisgarh

A major shake-up has taken place across key administrative departments in Chhattisgarh. Topeshwar Sharma has been appointed as Chairman of the Revenue Board in Bilaspur. Janak Prasad Pathak will now serve as Special Secretary in the Forest Department, while Mrs. Shikha Rajput takes charge as Commissioner of Medical Education, along with additional responsibilities for Ayush. Dr. Priyanka Shukla has been relieved from her role as OSD, Health & Family Welfare, and has been given the additional post of MD, National Rural Health Mission. Meanwhile, Kiran Kaushal will serve as MD of both Markfed and the Civil Supplies Corporation. Avanish Kumar Sharan has been moved as Commissioner of Town & Country Planning, holding additional charge of the Housing Board.

Further changes include Sunil Kumar Jain as Commissioner, Bilaspur Division; K D Kunjam as Member, Revenue Board; and Kartikey Goyal, who now heads the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department with additional responsibilities in the Warehousing Corporation. Saransh Mittar has been named Commissioner, Tribal and SC Development; Ranjat Bansal as Director, Mining & Minerals; and Taran Prakash Sinha as Commissioner, MGNREGA. Additional appointments include Ms. Iffat Ara as Additional Divisional Commissioner, Raipur; Jagdish Sonkar as MD, Antyavasai Cooperative Finance & Development Corporation; and Santosh Kumar Devangan as Commissioner, Higher Education. Padum Singh Elma has been posted as MD, Women and Child Development; Ramesh Kumar Sharma as Special Secretary, Home; and Dharmesh Kumar Sahu as Special Secretary, Panchayat & Rural Development. Other notable shifts include Jitendra Kumar Shukla to Jal Jeevan Mission, Rimijiyus Ekka to Urban Administration and Development, and Rituraj Raghuvanshi to Public Instructions. Vijay Dayaram K takes over Technical Education, Employment & Training; Rahul Dev moves to Agriculture; Deepak Kumar Agarwal becomes Controller, Food & Drug Administration; Arvind Kumar Ekka to Revenue and Disaster Management; and Ms. Santan Devi Jangre joins Health & Family Welfare. Rounding off the reshuffle, Sukhnath Ahirwar becomes Secretary, State Election Commission, and Chandrakant Verma has been named Director, Veterinary Services.
