Haryana Government reshuffles six IAS officers; Vivek Dahiya gets Civil Aviation charge

Chandigarh, August 22, 2026: The Haryana government has carried out an administrative reshuffle involving six IAS officers, bringing changes in several important departments, including Civil Aviation, Sports, Science and Technology and School Education.

One of the key changes involves Vivek Dahiya, a 2001-batch IAS officer, who has been given responsibility as Principal Secretary, Civil Aviation Department.

Dahiya will continue to hold his existing assignments as Principal Secretary, School Education and Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry. He has, however, been relieved of the responsibility of Principal Secretary, Sports.

Other IAS Officers Transferred in Haryana:

Amneet P Kumar, IAS has been entrusted with the Sports Department as Principal Secretary. She will continue to hold her existing responsibilities as Principal Secretary, Future and Principal Secretary, Foreign Cooperation.

Sharandeep Kaur Brar, IAS has been appointed Managing Director, Haryana State Warehousing Corporation Limited after returning from central deputation. She was earlier working as General Manager, Food Corporation of India.

Munish Kumar, IAS has been moved from the post of Secretary, Haryana Board of School Education and appointed Administrator, Haryana Sehkari Vikas Pradhikaran.

Rajiv Rattan, IAS will now also serve as Director General, Science and Technology, taking over the responsibility from IAS officer Jaideep Kumar. Rattan will retain his other assignments, including Secretary, Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs; Director of Training; Inquiry Officer, Vigilance; and Director, General Supplies and Disposals.

Deepak Babulal Karwa, IAS has been appointed Secretary, Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani. He succeeds Munish Kumar. Before this posting, Karwa was serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer in Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri.

The latest Haryana IAS reshuffle brings a fresh distribution of administrative responsibilities across several departments and is expected to strengthen coordination and governance at the state level.
