The Gujarat Government has announced fresh postings for senior IAS officers to boost efficiency in municipal governance. Manish Gurwani has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Gandhidham Municipal Corporation, where he will oversee urban management and development initiatives.
Similarly, Mahesh Shantilal Jain, who is serving as the Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Rajkot, has been entrusted with an additional responsibility as the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot Municipal Corporation. These assignments are expected to enhance the state’s municipal administration and ensure better public service delivery.
