Govind Gupta, a 1993 batch IPS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, has been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP) in Rajasthan. Currently, he serves as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) for Planning, Modernization & Welfare in Jaipur.
His career has seen various responsibilities, including serving as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and as the ADGP for Vigilance2. With this promotion, the total number of DGP cadre officers in the state has reached eight. Congratulations to Govind Gupta on his achievement!
