Fresh IRS (C&IT) probationers assigned across the country

The Department of Revenue has officially posted a new batch of IRS (Customs & Indirect Taxes) probationer officers as Assistant Commissioners to various GST & Central Excise Zones across India.

Among the assignments, Dr. Sushant Singh will begin his posting in the Thiruvananthapuram GST & CX Zone, while Shantanu Sunil Malani has been allocated to the Hyderabad Zone. Riju Shrivastava has been transferred to the Ranchi Zone, and Sreekumar Ravindrakumar is set to serve in Bengaluru.

The Guwahati Zone welcomes Ishan Ajit Tipnis and K R Kevalsing. Anuradha and Afnan Abdu Samed are assigned to Thiruvananthapuram and Bhopal respectively. Niranjana M and Deepak Dangi will serve in Mumbai and Pune Zones.

Mohammed Siddiq Shariff and Udham Patel head to Panchkula, while R R Golla is assigned to Ranchi. Ayushi Kalwar and Sapavath Amitha are posted to Jaipur and Kolkata, respectively. Tanvi Bamnawat will join the Vadodara Zone, and Abhishek Maji heads to Visakhapatnam.

Other notable assignments include Damini Diwakar to Pune, Rahul to Bhubaneswar, Sathya Parvathy to Lucknow, and Sivaprakash S V to Delhi. Satish Somjal is headed to Bhopal, Apurva Rastogi to Panchkula, and Rahul Agrawal to Meerut. M S Chakradhar joins Ahmedabad, and Muskan Khurana will also serve in Visakhapatnam.

Additional placements include Ankit in Chennai, Nidhi Pal in Chandigarh, and Khushboo Oberoi in Meerut. Tarun Bansal and Shivam Kumar are headed to Nagpur. Mukund Kumar will serve in Bhubaneswar, while Dia Dutta has been posted to Kolkata. Abhinav Khandelwal joins the Ahmedabad Zone, R S Meena goes to Pune, and Pooja Barwal has been transferred to the Bengaluru Zone.

This round of postings aims to bolster the efficiency and outreach of the indirect tax administration by infusing young officers across diverse geographical regions.
