In a major administrative exercise, 14 officers of the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) have been posted to new ministries and departments. Notable among them, Anil Srivastava is now Chief Controller of Accounts for the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, and Abhijit Roy becomes Controller of Accounts at CBIC.
Subhash Chandra will handle finances for the Ministry of Earth Sciences, while others such as Yogesh Kumar Meena, Kapil Dev Meena, and Dr. Bhadane Sachin Gulabrao are appointed to Jal Shakti, Science & Technology, and dual Chemical & Fertilizers plus Petroleum portfolios respectively.
The reshuffle also includes key deputy and assistant roles, with postings in PFMS, Health, Environment, and Finance departments, aiming to strengthen fiscal management.
