In Bihar, four senior IAS officers have been given new assignments. Chaitanya Prasad is now Chief Inquiry Commissioner at the General Administration Department (GAD), while Pratyay Amrit, previously holding additional duties in the Road Construction department, will now focus solely on his role as Development Commissioner.
Mihir Kumar Singh steps in as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of Road Construction, and Narmadeshwar Lal takes over as Principal Secretary-cum-Mining Commissioner, with added responsibilities as Managing Director of both the State Mining Corporation and the State Mineral Corporation.
