Four officers promoted to DIG, CBI

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has promoted four officers to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG).

  • Shivani Tewari, an experienced officer, has been promoted to DIG and will continue to serve in her new role for five years. She is a 2011-batch IPS officer from the Jharkhand cadre.
  • Manjunath Singe, another 2011-batch IPS officer, has also been promoted to DIG.
  • Parvinder Singh, a 2011-batch IPS officer from the AGMUT cadre, has received his promotion to DIG, where he will serve until 2027.
  • Murali Rambha, who has also been promoted to DIG, continues to showcase leadership in the CBI.

These promotions are part of the CBI’s efforts to strengthen its leadership in tackling complex cases and improving administrative efficiency.
