The West Bengal government has announced new assignments for four senior IAS officers. Barun Kumar Ray has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Non-Conventional and Renewable Energy Sources. Surendra Gupta has taken charge as Principal Secretary, Public Health Engineering (PHE).
Dushyant Nariala has been posted as ACS, North Bengal Development Department, while Atri Bhattacharya has been appointed ACS, Sundarban Affairs, strengthening the administrative leadership across key departments.
