Forest Service promotions and appointments:
- Suresh Kumar Gupta appointed as PCCF & HoFF, Jammu & Kashmir. A 1991 batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer from the AGMUT cadre, Gupta has a distinguished career in forestry and environmental management.
- Uttarakhand SFS Promotions: Eight officers from the State Forest Service (SFS) of Uttarakhand have been promoted to the Indian Forest Service (IFoS). Allocated to the Uttarakhand cadre, the officers include Anil Kumar Tamta (SL 2020), Karuna Nidhi Bharti, Umesh Chandra Tiwari, Navin Chandra Pant, Prakash Chandra Arya, Rang Nath Pandey (SL 2021), and Devi Prasad Balooni, Dhruv Singh Martolia (SL 2023).
