All five officers are retiring on September 30, 2023.
Vinay Ranjan Ray is currently serving as the Director General of Police (DGP) of Andhra Pradesh.
B K Sinha is currently serving as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) of Haryana.
K G Patil is currently serving as the ADGP of Maharashtra.
Satyendra Kumar Kaul is currently serving as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Uttar Pradesh.
Sharad Sachan is currently serving as the IGP of Uttar Pradesh.
The retirement of these five senior IPS officers will create a vacuum in the police forces of their respective states. It will be interesting to see who is appointed to replace them.
