In a fresh administrative shuffle, the Chhattisgarh government has reassigned five IAS officers. Dr. Rohit Yadav will now additionally serve as Secretary, Tourism and Culture, while continuing his role as Secretary, Energy Department. Avinash Champawat has been entrusted with Public Grievance Redressal duties alongside Revenue and Disaster Management.
Ankit Anand takes on the Commercial Tax Registration Department as an additional responsibility. Himshikhar Gupta has been appointed Secretary, Labour Department, with added responsibilities for Sports, Youth Welfare, Home, and Jail Departments. Meanwhile, Chandan Kumar, previously handling an extra role in the General Administration Department, has been named CEO of the Naya Raipur Atal Nagar Development Authority.
