In Bihar, five IAS officers have been given additional responsibilities as Officers on Special Duty (OSD) in the Disaster Management Department.
The officers include Mahendra Kumar, Himanshu Sharma, Rahul Kumar, and Shirshat Kapil Ashok, all from the 2011 batch, along with Ashutosh Dwivedi from the 2018 batch.
These appointments are aimed at strengthening the state’s disaster management efforts.
