Eight IAS officers receive fresh administrative assignments in Punjab

The Punjab Government has announced a fresh bureaucratic reshuffle, assigning new responsibilities to eight IAS officers across various departments and administrative bodies.

Neelima has been appointed Secretary, Personnel, and will additionally hold charge as Secretary, Vigilance. Sakshi Sawhney has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Nodal Officer for the Anti-Drug Campaign.

Other significant appointments include Sandeep Rishi as Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), Parminder Pal Singh as Special Secretary, Home Affairs, Neeru Katyal Gupta as Chief Administrator, Punjab Urban Planning & Development Authority (PUDA), Nikas Kumar as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar, Sonam as Additional Commissioner, Taxation-I, Patiala, and Rakesh Kumar Meena as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Hoshiarpur.
